Today we left our adorable apartment, and headed to Portland. We stopped for caramel lattes before actually leaving the city. Coffee shops and espresso bars abound in this area. After about three and a half hours of driving we made it to a place way out in the middle of nowhere. The location for our scariest adventure yet-Lauren bungee jumping. I forced myself to stand on the bridge, right by the edge fencing so I could video for her. It was super hard to stay there. So high and scary. She jumped about 100 feet, but was of course still high above the water. We both lived; I haven't been that frightened in a very long time. I hate heights, and this was worse than looking down a canyon! After that adventure we finished our drive to Portland fairly uneventfully.
